Third Shift 2022 was a lot of fun for us! We loved working with the team and providing photography and videos for their organization to use on social media and for future use in promoting the festival. As big lovers and regular attendees of the annual event, we we’re stoked to work it this year.
Our approach
Amelia and I took on the project and mapped out our evening early to ensure we got photos and videos of all 18 installations at peak times. Lighting, crowds, and focusing on being diligent with time allowed us to get everything we needed and more for the client and the artists performing. Getting different timeframes, and dimensions for all social media platforms and we created short promotional videos as well.
We have a different approach when it comes to marketing and photography. We know what, when and how people digest content, and we aim to create content that aligns with how it is consumed and helps them as a band, artist or business. We look to compliment your team and process and get the job done together, and at the best quality it can be.
Our Advice
Working with a great team and process usually helps, but mapping out where and when you need to and what to capture will help you stay on track and make it less chaotic.
Additionally, bring lots of extra snacks and have an excellent partner that makes running around, changing SD Cards and batteries, and keeping hydrated at the top of the list.
