Strange Grooves Volume 5

 Hello Everyone!

VOLUME 5 is now Live!

“ALRIGHT NOW!
Won’t you listen?”

 -Sweet Leaf – Black Sabbath

This week It’s just Cherise and I and as per usual give you a quick recap and give you an update on what StrangeGrooves is working on, We chat Halloween, and events coming up including Letterkenny Live in Moncton. We also chat about a recent show Cherise saw at the Imperial Theatre in Saint John. It was a screening of the 1920’s classic horror film Nosferatu, that had members of the Symphony New Brunswick and Open Arts playing an original score along with it in the pit, Really wishing I went along with her for this.

We are also creating weekly Spotify playlists featuring the music we talk about on the show as well as some of your requests! The first one will be shared on our Facebook page later this week. Check back for that!

On the topic of music, we chat about Black Sabbath, who we are spinning this episode as well as a very underrated Canadian group from the 1970’s called Edward Bear. Cherise is obsessed. You can check out the post she did on them this week here. I also give more love to Queens of the Stone age, the Foo fighters and much more.

As always, please feel free to reach out to us with your thoughts on what you’d like to see/hear or if you want to get involved. You can get in touch with us through our Facebook page.
